KickOff.com can reveal that Swallows FC are on the verge of signing former Richards Bay coach Brandon Truter.

The former Cape Town All Stars coach is currently clubless after parting ways with Richards Bay over the weekend.

According to our informant, Truter was spotted at OR Tambo Airport with Dube Birds boss David Mogashoa this morning and is due to sign a contract with the Soweto-based club today.

"Truter is as good as Swallows coach. He was with the chairman this morning at the airport. He is set to be introduced to the rest of the team this afternoon," the source confirms to KickOff.com.

Swallows are currently without a coach after firing Zeca Marques last week and former Kaizer Chiefs striker Fani Madida has been acting as caretaker coach in the interim.

The Birds have only recorded one win in five games this season and are lying down in 13th on the GladAfrica Championship log.
