Swallows comment on Truter's future

Premiership

Swallows FC boss David Mogashoa has assured head coach Brandon Truter that his job is still safe at the club.

Swallows announced the arrival of Simo Dladla as their first assistant coach this week and this raised eyebrows about the future of Truter, who was unable to maintain the team's early title challenge.

The former Uthongathi coach helped the Dube Birds qualify for the top eight in their first season in the DStv Premiership.

Dladla is credited for Richards Bay's success in the GladAfrica Championship this season after helping them qualify for the promotion playoffs.

"Truter is not going anywhere. He is our coach and he will remain our coach next season," Mogashoa tells KickOff.com.

Swallows take on champions Mamelodi Sundowns at 17h00 today, which will be another chance for Truter show his prowess as a top PSL coach.
