SuperSport United will make a decision on whether or not they want to keep Mamelodi Sundowns loanee George Lebese going forward.
Lebese joined Matsatsantsa in January after a frustrating year-and-a-half with the defending Absa Premiership champions. He did not play a single game for Sundowns in the first half of the season, but started spending more time on the pitch when he joined Kaitano Tembo’s side.
SuperSport are set to make decisions on the futures of players such as Morgan Gould and Clayton Daniels, while Reneilwe Letsholonyane has already confirmed he will be leaving the club at the end of the campaign.
"We haven't made any discussions on the movements of Lebese. We are waiting for the season to end, then we can see if we will keep him or not," Tembo said.
"All players including Gould and Daniels' situation will be discussed during the off-season. They are still contracted to us. As soon as we agree on something, announcements will be made."
Matsatsantsa were beaten 3-1 by Maritzburg United at Harry Gwala Stadium on Saturday and Tembo gave his thoughts on the disappointing defeat.
"They were dominating, Maritzburg United wanted more than us. We didn't defend well, we were disorganised. [Yannick] Zakri, [Fortune] Makaringe and [Siphesihle] Ndlovu capitalised, they gave us trouble especially in one-on-one situations," he added.
"Going forward we have to make sure we get a victory against Highlands Park, to finish the season strong."
