SuperSport United have confirmed three more departures from the club as they continue to trim their squad ahead of the PSL's restart.
As confirmed by KickOff.com last month, SuperSport on Friday officially announced the release of midfielder Thabo Qalinge, while adding that goalkeepers Thakasani Mbanjwa and Thato Lesoma have also left the club.
Qalinge's exit comes after he failed to break into the Matsatsantsa setup during his one-year stay with the club, which coach Kaitano Tembo explained was largely due to injury struggles.
The former Orlando Pirates winger, along with Mbanjwa and Lesoma, will now have to look for a new home but can only be registered with a new club when the PSL transfer window opens at the completion of the 2019/20 season.
The League is currently deliberating over the exact date the season will resume after government issued the green light for football to return under lockdown Level 3 last week.
The two shot-stoppers' departures come after the Tshwane outfit opted to retain the services of Boalefa Pule as back-up to long-serving number-one and newly appointed club captain Ronwen Williams.
