SuperSport United are expected to unveil Luckyboy Mokoena after agreeing terms with the former Highlands Park defender.

This website reported last month that United were chasing the services of Mokoena and it now appears Matsatsantsa have finally landed his signature.

The 26-year-old was also linked with Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns in the past.

"SuperSport United have agreed terms with Mokoena and are set to finalise the deal very soon," a source tells KickOff.com.

According to the source, SuperSport were also chasing Black Leopards left-back Pentjie Zulu to replace Aubrey Modiba, who has gone to Mamelodi Sundowns, but a deal failed to materialise.

Matsatsantsa have recently signed former Polokwane City goalkeeper George Chigova, ex-Stellenbosch striker Iqraam Rayners and young Bidvest Wits development products Mpho Mathebula and Keanan Phillips.

The club has also been linked with a move for ex-Sundowns midfielder Lucky Mohomi, who recently said farewell to The Brazilians on social media.
