Former AC Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari is set to arrive in South Africa on Monday to begin talks with a DStv Premiership club.

Muntari has been linked with Maritzburg United and Cape Town City even though he has come out openly about his desire to play for Kaizer Chiefs.

However, a close source confirms to KickOff.com the Ghana international will arrive in the country next week with the intention to sign for a PSL team.

"Muntari is on his way to South Africa," says the source. "He is expected to land in South Africa on Monday to begin talks with one of the local teams."

The 36-year-old has his clearance in hand following a stint with Albacete in Spain and could join any team as a free agent.
