Kaizer Chiefs head coach Stuart Baxter has denied there are any issues between himself and Mamelodi Sundowns co-coach Rhulani Mokwena.
In the wake of their highly-anticipated DStv Premiership clash on Sunday afternoon, the build-up was dominated by the news that there was a rift within the Masandwana technical team.
But speculation has long been brewing that the two former league winning coaches weren't on good terms, something Baxter was quick to quash.
"I don't know where anybody got the idea that me and Rhulani don’t see eye to eye," he told reporters ahead of the game.
"I think probably on footballing terms we see the game being played in a way the global game is being played and we don’t hide behind our own opinions as being the gospel as written by the coaches. I don’t see that.
"Rhulani might chop me down now and say 'I hate the old son' but I've never felt that. There is professional respect between me and Rulani as far as I am concerned."
Chiefs will face off against the reigning league champions on Sunday afternoon at Loftus Versveld (17h00).
