Contrary to what has been reported, experienced striker Nathan Paulse has not renewed his deal with National First Division outfit Cape Umoya United.
Club boss Roger de Sa told this website last week that Paulse had been given a one year deal, but the former Ajax Cape Town forward says this in fact not the case.
"Look, basically my side of the story is that the club has handed me a termination letter, where it was decided that obviously we'll not continue this relationship further,” Paulse tells KickOff.com.
“It's a mutual agreement so look I will also make an announcement about my intentions for the future you know, whether I will be playing or whether I'm going to officially retire or step over into coaching. So ja but with regard to myself and Cape Umoya... I'm done there."
