'Ernst's Chiefs adaptable, unpredictable'

Golden Arrows coach Steve Komphela has given his analysis of Kaizer Chiefs under Ernst Middendorp ahead of their clash tonight.

Abafana Bes'thende travel to FNB stadium to face an Amakhosi that is currently number one on the Absa Premiership log.

"We follow them. Ernst plays different formations just like us, he's got a lot of variations. Even in a match he can change to 4-3-3, a diamond midfield, play a back-three, he can switch one player from this side to the other side," Komphela explained.

"You have to be fresh against him, because he throws a lot of fresh dynamics. Sometimes he brings something that you never anticipated, you've got to go ready and also be ready for stuff you are not ready for."

Seventh-placed Arrows are coming from a disappointing 2-2 draw with struggling Stellenbosch but Komphela believes the confidence is still there will be looking to get a positive result.

"We are confident. I'm the last one to lose confidence, I've never lost confidence in my career, not in anything, I'm highly optimistic," he said.

"Why should you doubt about what is going to happen when you have an ability to determine the outcome? The outcome is in your hands, you just have to push and that's it. That's what I believe in. Whatever happens will happen and we'll reflect, but going in I believe i'st possible"

Last season Arrows collected four points against Amakhosi, three points at Princess Magogo Stadium and one away.
