Stellenbosch FC have confirmed contract extensions for the veteran trio of Granwald Scott, Robyn Johannes and Marc van Heerden.
Earlier this week, the Cape-based DStv Premiership side announced that Scott (33), Johannes (34) and Van Heerden (33) had all penned a one-year contract extension with the club.
The trio boast a combined 52 years of professional experience and have been retained for the 2021/22 campaign as Stellies look to climb up the table after ending 14th on the log last season.
For club captain Johannes, the new deal comes at a time when he is returning from a long-term injury and the veteran defender is looking forward to improving his side's fortunes on the pitch.
"It's good to be back," Johannes told the club's website on Wednesday. "I'm looking forward to what's to come.
"It didn't feel right not being able to play my part at the back end of last season. That is as they say history now and I can assure you we are ready to write a completely different story this season."
