Stellenbosch have confirmed the arrival of a PSL veteran who was formerly on the books of SuperSport United and Kaizer Chiefs.
Absa Premiership newbies Stellenbosch have confirmed ex-Bafana Bafana international Morgan Gould as their 12th new signing ahead of the 2019/20 season.
The 36-year-old has found a new home following his departure from Matsatsantsa upon the expiry of his contract with the Tshwane outfit last month.
Having first turned out as a professional for Jomo Cosmos back in 2001, Gould now joins only his fourth club in his career spanning nearly two decades as he looks to put his experience to good use.
Coach Steve Barker will be looking to put the burly centre-back to good use as they hope to establish themselves as a top flight side this season.
The club have also roped in the likes of Mpho Matsi on loan from Cape Town City and Marc van Heerden from AmaZulu to lead by example with their wealth of experience.
The Cape-based outfit's opening encounter will see them travel to Port Elizabeth to face Chippa United next Saturday.
