Zwane: Ajax can only accept one result

Kick-off is at 19h30, with second-from-bottom Ajax entering the match on the back of a 1-0 defeat to Golden Arrows in KwaMashu this past weekend.

Muhsin Ertugral's side - winless in six games, which includes four defeats - have eight more matches to flee the relegation zone.

Matsatsantsa aren't safe yet either, as a 1-1 draw with pace-setting neighbours Mamelodi Sundowns leaves them five points richer than the Urban Warriors in 12th place on the table.

"We really tried our best against Golden Arrows, but things just didn’t go our way on the day," Zwane told Ajax's website.

"Our next game is very crucial, they themselves believe that they deserve to be in the top eight. They head to Cape Town in a better space following a draw. As for us we really need a win. Every game from now until the end of the season is a cup final.

"We need to collect points, this is a crucial game – nothing but a win will do," concluded the fullback, who has impressed since arriving at Ikamva last month on loan from Sundowns.

Fellow Downs loanee Yannick Zakri is expected to make his return for the coastal outfit.
