Kaizer Chiefs have tied down one of their defenders on a massive new long-term deal that is sure to ward off any potential suitors in the near future.
Chiefs confirmed a contract extension that will see Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya remain in Naturena for another four years.
Ntiya-Ntiya, who is a product of the club's youth development, was set to see his previous contract come to end in June next year.
The 22-year-old left-back has established himself as a first team regular in the past season, after he was promoted to the first team in January last year.
The club have since explained what led to the decision to hand him such a long-term deal.
"His dedication, commitment and good work ethic have established him as a valuable member of the team," read a statement on Chiefs' website.
"We congratulate him and hope this serves as motivation to all the youngsters in our Youth Academy."
