Bafana Bafana legend Siphiwe Tshabalala rejoined his teammates at Turkish side BB Erzurumspor for pre-season today.
The 34-year-old former Kaizer Chiefs captain's future with the Turkish club was in doubt after they were relegated to the second tier at the end of last season.
Tshabalala, who arrived at the club on a two-and-a-half-year deal, has decided to stay with the club after they agreed to keep him on the same contract package as the one he had in the Super Lig.
The ex-Bafana Bafana stalwart played a total of 17 league games in Turkey last season and will be looking to help the club return to the top tier next season.
"Shabba started his training with the team this morning," the player's business manager Jazzman Mahlakgane tells KickOff.com.
"Yes he is staying. No changes [in his contract] and yes, same team."
