Shabba reveals his transfer plans

Siphiwe Tshabalala has elaborated on his exit from Turkish club BB Erzurumspor and indicated what his next move will be.

Tshabalala visited ABC Motsepe League side Passion FC this week and trained with the Caroline-based team to motivate them as a favour to the club owner.

The former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder was pressed further on what made him leave Turkey.

"Eish, like a lot happened you see. I was not happy with certain things and then I decided to part ways with them. I decided it's best we go our separate ways," Tshabalala tells

"It's not a matter of the level of football of that league or standard. I mean I was prepared to play there, that's why I went back during pre-season. It's just that we had disagreements with the management.

"It's got nothing to do with me not wanting to play. I wanted to honour my contract. Yes salary was part of the negotiations as well, so I felt I was not happy with what they were offering."

Tshabalala refused to reveal which clubs he is talking to at the moment.

"Er... we are working on something [laughs]. No it's not here at home. To tell you the truth, I know the fans want to know and they are worried, asking, sending messages on all my social media platforms, and I appreciate that.

"But when the time is right I will tell them you know. I respect them and they deserve to know. But I will tell them at the right time. I'm looking at overseas. But I will finish my career here at home."

But how many seasons are left in Shabba's legs?

"[Laughs] I don't know, as long as I'm still happy I will continue."
