KickOff.com has learnt that Simba FC are considering both Clinton Larsen and Eric Tinkler for their vacant coaching position.
Simba caused a big surprise over the weekend as they fired Sven Vandenbroeck after he led the club to three trophies last season and took the team to the group stage of the CAF Champions League this year.
According to a source close to the Tanzanian side, the club has already made contact with both Larsen and Tinkler with a view to offering one of them the head coach position.
"Simba is searching for a coach both in Africa and Europe. They have already made enquiries about the availability of both Larsen and Tinkler," the source tells KickOff.com.
Efforts to get Tinkler's comment on the interest from Tanzania proved futile while Larsen says he has not yet been informed by his agent of any new offers.
Both Tinkler and Larsen are currently free agents after parting ways with Maritzburg United and Polokwane City respectively last year.
Simba are currently under the watchful eye of Selimane Matola as caretaker coach.
