Chokoe: From coach to CEO

Premiership

Sello Chokoe has returned to National First Division Tshakuma Tsha Madzhivhandila FC as a CEO.

The former Baroka FC coach was sacked by TTM in January this year after taking over in July 2017.

“Chokoe's former team have appointed him as the club's Chief Executive Officer,” A source tells KickOff.com.

Contacted about the news, TTM chairman Lawrence Mulaudzi confirmed the new developments in his club.

"Yho! You can sniff ne? But to be frank with you, TTM lacks management. Ja and we concede to that. We came up with an inexperienced management from Castle Division, or SAB Division to ABC [Motsepe] Division. And when we got promoted we tried to beef up our technical team but I think we got a bit of a challenge to get the right football administrators.

“So we thought Sello Chokoe taking into account the history of the team, and also his background as an attorney. He's got a LLB, he's an attorney by profession. So we think he can beef up our management structure. Ja so it's true that we are bringing him back. It's just that we are finalising some of the terms of his contract."
