Sekhukhune clinch first new signing

Sekhukhune United have made their first new signing ahead of next season after securing the services of talented midfielder, Elias Mokwana from Platinum City Rovers.

Mokwana has joined United on a three-year deal after enjoying a great season with City Rovers during their maiden appearance in the GladAfrica championship.

According to sources close to Babina Noko, the club has already finalised the deal with the North West based-outfit for the services of the 22-year-old midfielder for an undisclosed fee.

"Sekhukhune United have signed one of the most talented players from the GladAfrica Championship. Mokwana has had a sterling season with Platinum City Rovers and his move to Sekhukhune United has come as no surprise,” said the source.

"It's a done deal and he is moving to Gauteng in June for pre-season training with his club,” he added.

Meanwhile, Sekhukhune are set to lose one of their key players, with Yusuf Maart linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs and abroad.
