Former Moroka Swallows striker Sandile Ndlovu has made a request to the club as they prepare for life in the top-flight next season.
The Dube birds were promoted last week after being crowned inaugural GladAfrica Championship winners after edging out Ajax Cape Town on the final day of the season.
Ndlovu, who was one of Swallows' top strikers when they were still in the Absa Premiership, has congratulated the management for reviving the team but has one request for the hierarchy.
"I would like to congratulate them for the good work, saving the legacy of this rich club, they made sure the team got everything to perform," Ndlovu tells KickOff.com.
"With everything happening in the GladAfrica Championship, I've never heard anything bad about Swallows, which proves the great leadership they have right now."
'AK47' believes Swallows can go straight to the top eight come the end of next season but they will need to get more younger players in the squad.
"I think they should have less over-35 players. Their focus must be to get a young and hungry team and keep the same technical team," he adds.
"I would also like to see them keeping those young Chiefs players [Itumeleng Shopane, Ayanda Rorwana and Given Thibedi] permanently. It's never good for a team to have many players who are on loan, at least three are enough for any team."
