Maritzburg United defender Rushine De Reuck has finally responded to the speculation about his future by challenging interested teams to act.
De Reuck has been one of the most valuable players for the Team of Choice in the last two years and has been tipped for awards this season by his fellow colleagues.
The likes of SuperSport United veteran Clayton Daniels and Thamsanqa Mkhize of Cape Town City – amongst several other figures – have been impressed by the 24-year-old's progress under Eric Tinkler.
Speak with the media in a video conference call, the Cape Town-born defender finally responded to all the hype surrounding him.
"I'm happy with my progress," he said. "It's a great thing to be getting such attention but I don't really put that in my head."
With his great performances comes reported interest from Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates, and the players says whoever wants him must talk to his club.
"I get that question a lot. I don't really think about that. My focus is with Maritzburg United and doing well for the team," he responded.
"If the teams are interested in me, they will contact Maritzburg United."
