Mamelodi Sundowns are working around the clock to have both Themba Zwane and Mosa Lebusa fit for the DStv Premiership clash against Kaizer Chiefs at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
Both players sat out Sundowns' previous encounter at Chippa United due to injury.
The Brazilians had already lost the services of Lebohang Maboa for the next 6 months due to long-term injury while Khuliso Mudau has also been ruled out.
Mamelodi Sundowns co-coach Rhulani Mokwena declared a clean bill of health at Chloorkop besides a few niggling injuries ahead of their meeting with Amakhosi in Tshwane on Sunday.
"We have Khuliso Mudau still struggling a little bit and we still have to see what is his state," Mokwena said.
"He probably will be out for this game as he won't be ready.
"We still have long-term injuries with Lebo Maboe which is a massive blow but we have enough within the squad to deal with that.
"Other than that we have one or two niggling injuries. Themba Zwane still needs to pass a fitness test, with the same for Mosa Lebusa."
Mokwena praised the club's medical department who he revealed are working at full tilt to get the players back to full fitness.
"Apart from that, we are moving into a very good space," Mokwena added.
"A lot of credit and praises need to go to our medical department, the way they have dealt with players during this period when we have had a couple of days off and they've come into the office.
"They have had a couple of extra sessions with some of the players, fantastic work done behind the scenes and I think we sit with a much healthier squad."
