Royal AM warned over PSL play-offs

Premiership

Royal AM will forfeit three points if they don't show up for their Premier Soccer League (PSL) promotion play-off fixture against Richards Bay FC on Tuesday.

The KwaZulu-Natal club is appealing to judge Roland Sutherland's court ruling that saw Sekhukhune United FC being promoted to the DSTV Premiership.

As a result, Royal, Chippa United and Richards Bay will contest the promotion/relegation play-offs expected to commence tomorrow.

Royal AM is accusing judge Sutherland of committing various errors in his judgment.

Asked if another court case might delay the Play-Offs, PSL Chief Operations Office Ronnie Schloss confirmed they will be punished if failing to adhere to the scheduled.

"They must read the rules. If you don't pitch up then you get zero points," he tells KickOff.com. "But I don't know if they've appealed."

Royal AM could not be reached for comment at the time of publishing this article.

The match is set scheduled to take place tomorrow at 15h00 at the Umhlathuze Sports Stadium.
