Downs expect very, very difficult clash

Mamelodi Sundowns are gearing up for what is expected to be a "very, very difficult" encounter, according to co-coach Rhulani Mokwena.

Sundowns are up against Baroka at Peter Mokaba Stadium this afternoon (15h00 kick-off) as they turn their attention back to the DStv Premiership.

The defending league champions, who have top flight newcomers Swallows breathing down their necks, will be looking to create some distance at the top of the table before the Dube Birds visit Orlando Pirates on Sunday.

Coming up against a 8th-placed Bakgaga side, Mokwena is taking nothing for granted and expects a strenuous battle in Limpopo this afternoon.

"It's a good team, they are strong in the midfield – Mosele is strong, Kambala is strong. We'll see what they put out and we've prepared for the match," Mokwena told Downs' media.

"Hopefully we put the work done during the week onto the pitch and come out with a very good result. It's going to be a difficult one, they are never an easy side to play against, particularly when they are at home.

"Their threat in set-pieces is one that, of course, we are aware of and we've got to be ready for. But a good team with a clear identity and personality. It's going to be a very, very difficult match for us."
