Reneilwe Letsholonyane has commented on his situation at TS Galaxy, while Dan Malesela has all but confirmed that he is the new head coach.

The 38-year-old midfielder's future has been uncertain following the club's sale to Tim Sukazi, who is set to move the team to Mpumalanga next season.

Due to the incoming ownership changes, Galaxy still need to negotiate with and make decisions on several Highlands players including Letsholonyane, Musa Nyayama and Bevan Fransman.

Mothobi Mvala and Peter Shalulile have already joined treble winners Mamelodi Sundowns while assistant coach Allan Freese has been snapped up by AmaZulu.

KickOff.com put a call through to 'Yeye' to find out if he is going to be playing his football in Mbombela next season.

"I'm training with the team so... ja I don't know if me training with the team is staying, I don't know," Letsholonyane responds.

"Remember the handover [of the players to the new owners] was done the day before yesterday. So because I'm still contracted with Highlands Park up until the end of the month, obviously I'm following my contractual obligations. So I'm training, we are training with Galaxy.

"I don't know. We'll obviously know once the engagements start with my management. At the moment I'm training with the team because my contract ends at the end of the month.

"Let me do this, I will be able to talk well once everything is confirmed and this thing of TS Galaxy is sorted out because now I don't know what's happening. I can't talk on behalf of others and on something that I don't even know myself where I stand.

"So once everything is settled, and the relevant people make their announcements, ja then we will know where we stand."

Contacted for a comment on the player's situation, new Galaxy head coach Dan 'Dance' Malesela was reluctant to share anything.

"I can't comment now until announcements are made on everything, I'm not allowed to speak about anything," Malesela says.

"They need to formalise things you know. The League hasn't announced anything so we can't be talking."

As revealed by this website, Mabhuti Khenyeza is expected to become Galaxy's MDC coach with former Bidvest Wits coach Ashley Makhanya, Esau Mtsweni and Thabo Nthethe all set for new roles under Sukazi's new regime.
