Galaxy boss confirms Yeye decision

TS Galaxy chairman Tim Sukazi has provided an update on the future of veteran midfielder Reneilwe Letsholonyane.

There has been uncertainly about the future of the former Kaizer Chiefs star ever since Galaxy's takeover of Highlands Park was confirmed.

The 38-year-old had been hesitant to talk about retirement in recent months as th last football season was disrupted and then Highlands was sold causing further stress.

But Sukazi, speaking with media in Durban on Sunday afternoon, confirmed that the former Bafana Bafana midfielder has been offered a contract extension.

"He has not retired... his contract had expired with Highands Park, but we looked at it and said here is a good servant of the game who has so much knowledge," Sukazi said.

"Are we really wanting to let go of such a person? No. He has so much knowledge and it's very important to our young players and project we are building going forward.

"He can still play and our football suits his style, so he is very good."
