Kaizer Chiefs are currently facing a very tough period of not getting good results, which has created a lot of discussion around whether some players are still worthy to be in the team.
Amakhosi have started the 2020/21 season with many challenges including injuries to key players and being unable to sign any fresh talent after losing their appeal against a FIFA transfer ban.
These factors are starting to look like excuses after another underwhelming display in a 0-0 draw with TS Galaxy on Wednesday night.
Chiefs have already been thumped 3-0 twice this season, by each of their main rivals.
Just as former defender Gardner Seale said earlier this week, another ex-player Rene Richards believes there is a lack of drive from the players.

"It's like they don't have energy and willingness, I mean that's definitely not on the coach because I know Gavin Hunt is an inspirational and motivational coach," Richards tells KickOff.com.
"Gavin loves his players, he gives them the same treatment and respect. This boils down to players because I've been in this situation when I was at Chiefs where most of us lost motivation and we were losing week after week."
Richards believes the squad is good enough to deliver a trophy as long as the players are in a good state of mind.
"Until everyone's got their mojo back... but with the calibre of players Chiefs have, they can do better. Players need to be a team, not individuals. Play for the badge."
