Real Madrid target would sign for Downs

Real Madrid target Leon Manyisa tells KickOff.com he would love to join Mamelodi Sundowns if his dream of playing in LaLiga doesn't materialise.

Manyisa has been the subject of interest from the Spanish giants but a trip to Spain for trials has been delayed by visa problems.

The 18-year-old midfielder says he would prefer a PSL move as a second option and picks Sundowns and Bidvest Wits amongst the clubs he would love to play for.

"I am hoping to get another chance [of going to Spain] in January. If not I wouldn't mind playing in South Africa. I follow South African football," Manyisa tells KickOff.com from Eswatini.

"I wouldn't mind playing for any team, even Chippa United or Bidvest Wits. I like the way Sundowns play. I love their style of football. I wouldn't mind playing for Sundowns, Chippa United, Wits or any team in the PSL."

The Eswatini youngster is currently doing Grade 11 at Elangeni High School outside Mbabane and grew up idolising former Bafana Bafana midfielder Teko Modise.

"At the moment I don't have a favourite player in the PSL. I used to be a fan of Teko Modise and model my game around him," Manyisa adds.
