Chiefs’ 13 youngest PSL debutants

Kaizer Chiefs have produced some fine young talent through their youth academy over the years. KickOff.com looks at 14 teenagers who made their debuts for the club since 2006.

In recent seasons, Chiefs have seen the likes of Wiseman Meyiwa – who was forced into retirement after a car accident in 2018, Siyabonga Ngezana, Happy Mashiane, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo and Njabulo Blom come through the club’s ranks into the senior team.

This has been a refreshing injection from the club’s MultiChoice Diski Challenge side, which is being coached by former Amakhosi winger Arthur ‘10111’ Zwane.

But the club has a history of giving first team opportunities to youngsters, particularly teenagers, with a total of 13 having made their league debuts since the 2006/07 campaign.

These include the likes of George Lebese, Mandla Masango, Knowledge Musona and Lucky Baloyi, among others, but who was the youngest to make their maiden appearance in the Absa Premiership?
