Rakhale joined by Zim international out Sekhukhune exit door

KickOff.com has been informed that Thabo Rakhale will be on the road to his fourth club win just over a year after being sacrificed at Sekhukhune United along with Zimbabwe international Blessing Sarupinda.

Sarupinda – who joined at the beginning of the season – is moving on loan to JDR Stars in the GladAfrica Championship after managing just four appearances since joining at the beginning of the season from CAPS United.

Of note in the departure lounge is Rakhale.

Rakhale made four appearances but didn’t score or assist in all those games which led to the club reaching the decision to offload him.

The 31-year-old joined Sekhukhune at the beginning of the season from Marumo Gallants where he also spent a season after arriving from Chippa United in November 2020.

His departure from Sekhukhune has exposed what is happening with luxury footballers with Tshepo Matete having since moved back to playing township tournaments.

Also already heading out at Sekhukhune is Talent Chawapiwa who only joined at the start of the season.

He is joined on the way out by Thabang Sibanyoni, Nicholas Lukhubeni and Ryan de Jongh.

De Jongh played seven games with only two of them full shifts.

Lukhubeni had a single two-minute-long appearance while Sibanyoni featured in four matches.

Chawapiwa enjoyed plenty minutes towards the end of last year through the eight games he played but has also been released.

At least three other players will be going out on loan to the first division considering that the club has already signed Justin Shonga, Evans Rusike and Luckyboy Mokoena.

There are still several trialists arriving at the club’s training grounds.
