Ex-Chiefs, Bucs pair set for SAB move

Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Punch Masenamela is back in the country after being offloaded by Mbabane Highlanders in Eswatini.

The 33-year-old joined Highlanders last season but his stay at the club was marred by several injuries.

Also back in the country is 31-year-old former Orlando Pirates striker Patrick Ngidi after a short stint with the same team.

Both players are reportedly on their way to join SAB League side Ali Tigers.

Highlanders spokesperson Bhekisisa Dlamini has confirmed the departure of Masenamela from Eswatini.

"He is no longer with us. He is joining Ali Tigers in South Africa," Dlamini tells KickOff.com.

"We had more players playing in the same position in defence and this was one of the reasons the club released him."
