Sandilands has fallen down the pecking order at Sundowns this season with just three appearances to his name in 2014/15, with Denis Onyango having overtaken him in deputising for Kennedy Mweene.
Glyn Binkin, who manages the 31-year-old, tells KickOff.com that they are looking at ‘doing something’ in January.
“We will look to do something in January plus Wayne has already told the club that he would want to pursue other playing opportunities elsewhere with the club then saying they will look into it. The reality is that Wayne wants to play which hasn’t been happening at Sundowns this season,” says Binkin.
Since the arrival of Mweene at Downs at the beginning of last season Sandilands has played just eight games, and recent speculation has linked him with a move to Orlando Pirates.
