PSL set to lose senior manager

The Premier Soccer League are set to lose the services of Senior Manager Luxolo September, who has taken up an opportunity at the Condeferation of African Football (CAF).

September is set to leave the PSL after being appointed CAF's Head of Operations, which was ratified during the continental body's executive meeting on Friday.

The Tsomo-born football administrator will now be joining fellow South Africans Pitso Mosimane, Cavin Johnson, Musi Matlaba, Kabelo Rangoaga (all at Al Ahly) and Kabelo Bosilong (CAF Club Licencing Instructor) in Cairo, Egypt.

September has spent the past eight years with the League, mostly within the media and communications department, and is well known within the local football fraternity.

He also has previous experience within FIFA's communications team, and served during the 2014 World Cup hosted in Brazil.

'Lux', as he is more commonly referred to, will now be flying the flag on the continental stage and is expected to be succeeded at the PSL by Fhatuwani Mpfuni, who is the current Media Officer.
