Kaizer Chiefs are currently still licking their wounds following Saturday's events but will have to move quickly to prepare for the 2020/21 season kicking off in a few weeks.

With the new season scheduled to kick-off towards the end of next month, the club is expected to make big changes in a concerted effort to get their house in order after the weekend's devastation.

Among the top options The Glamour Boys have to turn to are the likes of Gavin Hunt, who has already been linked with a switch to Naturena following the sale of Bidvest Wits, and Benni McCarthy, who sent a heartfelt message to the club following last weekend's disappointment.

Hunt previously poured cold water on the reports, having told TimesLive: "Listen, it’s quite embarrassing for me. Because somebody’s got a job‚ and my name’s being thrown about here."

Other coaches without jobs at present include Gordon Igesund, Kosta Papic and Cavin Johnson, while Shaun Bartlett also remains an option for promotion after he served as an understudy to the German for the last 21 months.
