PSL bad boy Masibusane Zongo has been handed a lifeline with a club based in the Free State as he looks to resurrect his career.
Zongo was last on the books of Botswana Premier League side Extension Gunners FC, whom he joined in August last year, and has now found himself a club back home.
ABC Motsepe League side D'General FC, which was formed in July and is part-owned by Bafana Bafana and Brentford midfielder Kamohelo Mokotjo, have confirmed the signing of the 29-year-old attacker on a short-term deal until the end of the season.
D'General are currently in fourth position on the Free State division standings, having won four, drawn three and lost one of their eight games thus far.
The former SuperSport United youth graduate could get his debut when his side square off with bottom side Lijabatho FC on Sunday afternoon (15h00) at Rorichpark in Viljoenskroon.
