Polokwane City head coach Zlatko Krmpotic says he is not bothered by reports that the club is considering showing him the door by the end of this week.
According to media reports, the Serbian could be fired by the Limpopo side following a string of poor results.
Rise and Shine lost 2-0 to Highlands Park away and Stellenbosch at home in the in their last two league matches, as well as being knocked out of the Telkom Knockout 1-0 in the first round by Golden Arrows.
The last time the team in orange tasted victory was a 3-1 win over SuperSport United on September 21.
It is not like Krmpotic and the team had a bad start though. They comfortably sit in position fourth on the Absa Premiership table with 13 points from eight matches.
"In football everything is normal you know. I started very well, I have 13 points. If there's somebody to make something better it's not a problem," Krmpotic tells KickOff.com.
"You know in football this is normal every day, you understand. If there's somebody to make [the team] better, for me no problem. This is normal in football."
Asked if it was true that he might be fired by the club this week, the former Zesco United and Royal Eagles coach could not rule it out.
"[Laughs] Everything is possible my friend. I want to ask you, when did Polokwane City make a good result in a cup before?" he reasoned.
"If you want to make pressure, make pressure, no problem my friend. This is normal in football every day you know. If you play some players from development and you lose the game after extra time... no problem.
"Now we don't have bad results, we have very good results. Also we play semifinal in the MTN cup... these are very good results for Polokwane City, and I tell you if there's somebody who thinks he can do better than me, no problem. I don't think I now have to fight him for my job, no."
Krmpotic says he hasn't spoken to club boss Johnny Mogaladi about the reports.
"No, I don't speak [to management], I'm only going to training... and this is only what I'm doing. This is normal in football, I am very experienced in all this you know."
City visit Golden Arrows at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium in their next Absa Premiership encounter on Saturday.
