City want to add to Stars' woes

Rise and Shine could go as high as fifth on the Absa Premiership standings if they beat Ea Lla Koto by more than two goals, which would take them level on points with SuperSport United, though the men from Limpopo would have a superior goal difference.

Stars, meanwhile, are just three points ahead of bottom-of-the-table Maritzburg United and know that they cannot afford to slip up.

“I think they have information about us and we have information about them but, like I said, the players will decide on the field,” City coach Jozef Vukusic says.

“We don't have a secret, we work hard systematically from the start of the preparation. We follow our targets, our objectives and I would be happy if we stay like that till the end of the season. We don't have any suspension, we have small injuries, so we will decide maybe before the game who will play.

“We know it won't be easy because the home team is fighting for not to be relegated so, it's game like that."

City's number one George Chigova says it’s important that they enhance their chances of finishing in the top eight.

"Yeah we playing with a team fighting for their life so we know it's gonna be tough," the Zimbabwean international says.

"Also us we want to collect points in order for us to maintain our place in the top eight, so it's not going to be an easy game. We just taking one game at a time, trying to get as much points as we can until the end of the season."
