City coach expects more of the same

Rise and Shine recorded their first victory of the season last weekend when they beat Limpopo rivals Baroka FC 2-0 at Peter Mokaba Stadium, and now travel to Princess Magogo Stadium (19h30) to face an Arrows side currently sitting in eighth place on the Absa Premiership standings.

Even though Vukusic felt that his men could have scored more against Bakgaga, he was delighted with the result and he will be expecting more of the same against an Arrows side that is usually stubborn in their backyard.

“I admit we didn’t have a great start for this 2018/19 season, but I am proud of the boys’ consistency and focus,” Vukusic said.

“We could have scored more goals against Baroka, but 2-0 was enough,” he added.

It will be an interesting battle between the two Zimbabwean attackers on each side. City have Walter Musona and Arrows can bank on Knox Mutizwa. Both players in the past have shown that they can produce moments of magic and their coaches will be looking at them to inspire them to victory.
