Dikwena still find themselves in a degree of peril although victory today would all but assure their top flight safety.
“Highlands Park are at the bottom of the log and we are also not at a good position. It’s not going to be an easy game for us," Mabena tells his club's official website.
"They will be looking to get maximum points because they will want to get away from the relegation zone. We also want to be away from the relegation zone. We have to be at our best on the day.
"We are at home so we have to make sure that we don’t concede. If we don’t concede we won’t lose. We have to grind the results. It’s not going to be easy for us. We will plan very well and see how it goes [today].”
Mabena will go into the game agains the Lions of the North bouyed by the brace he bagged against title hopefuls Mamelodi Sundowns midweek.
“I haven’t scored as much as I want this season. Getting two goals with four games to go, I think it’s a morale booster for the team. I am not doing it for myself," he said.
"I am doing it for the team as we are not in a good position. We need as many maximum points as we can get. We have to grind in this four coming games but we have to take it one game at a time."
