Dikwena were supposed to meet with Masalesa over the weekend with intention of securing his signature but postponed after the player rushed home in Polokwane for personal reasons.
The North West-based side are hoping to bring in 'Viera' to help stabilise their midfield after the release of Solomon Mathe.
According to a source close to Dikwena both the club and Masalesa have agreed in principle on a new contract and all that is left is too agree on a few details and put pen to paper.
"The club was set to meet Masalesa the past weekend but he had personal issues to attend to at home," said the source.
"The meeting is now scheduled for this week with the hope the player will sign on the dotted line with Platinum Stars."
