Pitso: No guarantees against Arrows

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane believes his team can beat Golden Arrows and climb to the top of the league table tonight.

Sundowns stand a good chance of winning the league after Orlando Pirates dropped two valuable points against Cape Town City at Athlone Stadium on Saturday.

The Brazilians enter today's match as wounded tigers after being booted out of the CAF Champions League by Wydad Casablanca over the weekend.

Despite the promise of a big advantage if they can win tonight, Mosimane does not want to get carried away.

"Do we have a guarantee on Tuesday? I don't like to get excited too quickly because anything is possible," Mosimane warned.

"You can't celebrate, you have to win first. After you win, we talk different. We have to win because a game in hand is not a game won, we still have to play, we have to win."

Sundowns have played six games in two weeks including travelling to Morocco for the CAF Champions League semifinal against Wydad Casablanca.

"Six games in 15 days for these boys is not easy and I think you know how rested is Arrows, but this one is an emotional one, it's gonna be an emotional game," he added.

"I don't think physics will say much, we need to control the game and play the Sundowns way. I believe we can win the game, so Pirates [also] believed they can beat Cape Town City remember, so this football it is the way it is."
