Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has provided a tantalising two-word update on Tokelo Rantie and commented on Jose Ali Meza's situation at Chloorkop.
Rantie has been training with Sundowns since pre-season with the view to winning a contract with The Brazilians.
Mosimane has previously indicated that he would give the Bafana Bafana striker a chance provided he could show his fitness and commitment, and when the time is right.
"Not yet," said Mosimane in response to a question if Rantie has signed or not, with the "yet" perhaps indicating it might only be a matter of time.
Meanwhile, Venezuelan forward Meza was set to join Maritzburg United last month after being invited for training but the deal fell through.
Mosimane and Team of Choice coach Eric Tinkler appeared to have different ideas about why the move never materialised, with Tinkler having a dig at Mosimane for saying Meza was on trial in Durban.
'Jingles' revealed he still rates Meza as a very good player and is hopeful he will hear from the club management soon regarding the player's future.
