Pitso Mosimane believes Mamelodi Sundowns defender Motjeka Madisha is ready to challenge for a place in the Bafana Bafana squad.
Madisha has been enjoying more game-time at Sundowns in the last few games due to an injury to Wayne Arendse.
The former South Africa under-20 star won man of the match during the Telkom Knockout match against Chippa United in Port Elizabeth last Sunday.
Mosimane has since urged Madisha to remain humble and keep his feet on the ground.
"He is one of the beat centre-backs now, him and Mosa [Lebusa]. I think if he plays like this he will get a call-up from Bafana maybe." said Mosimane.
"He must keep playing like that. He is quick, sharp and times his tackles well. He has done exceptionally well for us in the last few games. I hope he stays humble and keeps doing well."
Sundowns visit Golden Arrows in their next league match in Durban today. Kick-off is at 15h30.
