Fresh after knocking Orlando Pirates out of the Nedbank Cup, Pitso Mosimane has pleaded with Bidvest Wits coach Gavin Hunt to beat Kaizer Chiefs too.
Wits prevailed in a penalty shootout after a 3-3 draw with Josef Zinnbauer's in-form side at Orlando Stadium on Sunday, and still have to play leaders Amakhosi twice in the league this season.
The Clever Boys have already played Sundowns twice times this season, with both matches ending in draws.
Mosimane is now pinning his hopes of defending the Absa Premiership title on Wits being able to bring down the Amakhosi juggernaut to close the gap on top of the log and make the league's finale more interesting.
"Maybe I must speak to [Gavin] Hunt. Hey Hunty, come do your work, come do your stuff my brother," Mosimane said.
"You took four points from me with two draws, so take four points somewhere [else] also.
"JZ [Josef Zinnbauer] is on form, [Gabadihno] Mhango is on form. Let's see. We will go to FNB Stadium. We will see what happens at FNB stadium, you may never know.
"Watch this space."
