Top agent Glyn Binkin has broken the long silence on Phakamani Mahlambi's future at Mamelodi Sundowns, as well as his situation at AmaZulu.
The 23-year-old former Al Ahly forward has so far made only four appearances for Usuthu since arriving on loan from parent club Sundowns.
According to unconfirmed reports, off-field demons are said to be holding the former junior international back.
"He's got a contract with Sundowns, he's going back to Sundowns for sure," Binkin tells KickOff.com regarding the outlook for his client.
Pressed further to clarify his situation at Usuthu, and to comment on the player's well-documented alleged 'drinking problem', Binkin would not be drawn on the matter.
"Ask AmaZulu what the situation is, the team is doing well... he's not playing at the moment but the team is doing well, they are second on the log so I fully respect the coach and his decision, and the players that are playing for him are doing very well," he responds.
"So Phakamani must be patient. Hopefully he gets a chance soon. But he's a Sundowns player so he goes back to Sundowns at the end of the season. Find out from AmaZulu if there's another reason [for his lack of game time]. No, there's no other reason."
