Mamelodi Sundowns' latest signings Peter Shalulile and Mothobi Mvala have opened up on their ambitions upon joining the treble-winners.
Shalulile and Mvala were officially unveiled as Sundowns players on Friday as they both penned five-year contracts after being transferred from Highlands Park.
The pair had both been key figures for the Lions of the North, playing pivotal roles since the club's Premiership promotion-winning campaign back in 2017/18 until its impending sale to TS Galaxy.
Now that they have joined the 2016 CAF Champions League winners and the newly crowned PSL treble winners, both players have discussed their hopes during their stay in Chloorkop.
“I joined Sundowns because I think it’s one of the best clubs in Africa and I want to win trophies. It’s a platform for me to play in Africa with the CAF Champions League,“ said Shalulile on the club's website.
Mvala added: “Every season Sundowns competes for trophies, which is something you want as a player, to win something for yourself, for your family, for the supporters, for everyone.
"I’m looking forward to meeting all the players, so that we can share good moments and keep winning.”
