Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila will not announce Owen Da Gama as their new head coach after negotiations with the former Highlands Park mentor broke down.

With almost three weeks before the start of new season, TTM are still without a coach, raising doubts about their preparedness for their maiden appearance in the DStv Premiership.

KickOff.com has learnt that Da Gama is still battling with issues with Highlands Park and TS Galaxy, where he is demanding a settlement fee.

Da Gama's contract with The Lions of the North, who have sold their PSL status to TS Galaxy, was set to expire in June next year.

"Da Gama cannot sign with any club until he gets his settlement fee from Highlands Park. The matter is now with his lawyers," reveals a close source.

"It looks like TTM are going to settle for another coach as their negotiations have fallen down."

Former Bafana Bafana coach Shakes Mashaba is one of the local options linked with the job at TTM next season.
