Highlands Park head coach Owen Da Gama has rubbished reports that they are looking to sign former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siphiwe Tshabalala.
According to reports in the media the likes of Maritzburg United, Moroka Swallows and Highlands are in the race for the clubless Soweto-born star.
The 35-year-old 'Shabba' was last on the books of Turkish side BB Erzurumspor but left them when they failed to honour their contract with him.
His business manager Jazzman Mahlakgane has been trying to get the former Bafana Bafana icon another overseas move since then.
Da Gama, who signed Tshabalala's former teammate Renielwe Letsholonyane not so long ago, says they have enough experienced players in his team.
"No, I don't know anything, I saw it [the story]. I've never heard of anything like that [from club management]," he tells KickOff.com.
"I don't know anything about that, not the management... I'd be the first one to know, there's no such thing my friend.
"We've got a lot of experienced players. We are signing young players now. We've got too much experience.
"We've got Yeye, we've got [Tendai] Ndoro... you see we've got too many senior players. You know it's not true.
"I think it's the agents that are trying... there's another boy that I was reading about, the former Chiefs young boy [Emmanuel Letlotlo]... that is not true."
