Bucs miss key stars for SSU clash


Orlando Pirates will be without the reigning PSL Footballer of the Season for a third consecutive game tonight when they take on SuperSport United.

Thembinkosi Lorch, who was at the Africa Cup of Nations with Bafana Bafana in Egypt a couple of months ago, is set to miss out on the Absa Premiership clash to be played at Mbombela Stadium (19h30).

Right back Mthokozisi Dube is also not available.

Pirates confirmed the absence of Lorch and Dube on their website. “Footballer of the Season Thembinkosi Lorch looks set to miss out on the Buccaneers’ third consecutive game due to an injury. Another player set to miss out on the match is right back Mthokozisi Dube who is still recovering from a shoulder injury.”

Pirates started their Absa Premiership campaign with a 3-1 victory over Bloemfontein Celtic and will be looking to get points on the road when they face Matsatsantsa tonight.
