Whilst many Orlando Pirates fans have been wondering about the whereabouts of midfielder Augustine Mahlonoko, KickOff.com can reveal that the youngster is now playing in the ABC Motsepe League.
Mahlohonoko was rated amongst the top 60 young talents in the world last year after becoming Pirates’ youngest debutant just 17 days before his 17th birthday.
However, the Vaal-born midfielder has only made that one appearance for the club in the Absa Premiership and was not registered with the first team this season.
According to a source close to Pirates, Mahlonoko has since been loaned out to ABC Motsepe League side Pele Pele FC together with Yusuf Mart, who spent last season with Cape Umoya United in the GladAfrica Championship.
"Mahlonoko is with Pele Pele in the ABC Motsepe league," a source tells KickOff.com.
"He was loaned out together with Yusuf Mart and another youngster Mbulu, who was with Witbank Spurs last season."
Pirates rising star Thabiso Monyane also played for Pele Pele last season prior to his promotion to the first team this season.
