Orlando Pirates duo Gabadinho Mhango and Terrence Dzvukamanja have been tipped to bounce back, should they remain at the club next season.
Mhango, 28, was the joint Lesley Manyethela Golden Boot winner in the 2019/20 campaign with 16 league goals in 28 games but struggled to replicate the same from last season.
Meanwhile, Dzvukamanja (27) found the back of the net just twice in 22 games across all competitions since his move from the now-defunct Bidvest Wits.
They were among a host of Pirates strikers who struggled for consistency and fitness alongside, Zakhele Lepasa, Tshegofatso Mabasa and Jean-Marc Makusu Mundele which their agent Mike Makaab acknowledges.
"They both talented players and I think a number of Pirates players have been out of favour but they're talented, they have to go through the difficult times, it's what makes them appreciate the good times," Makaab tells KickOff.com.
"Like anything in life, if you aren't prepared to soldier your way through, how do you build your character, you can't be turning your back on challenges. I'm confident both players will play an important role going forward for the club."

With Mhango have been in high demand after his exploits last season, his agent admitted the club could reconsider their stance on his future if they look to rope in reinforcements for next season.
"They might be open to selling Gaba but he has a contract to the club which we respect," he explained.
"If we have an offer that we believe is good for the player and a fair offer in our opinion, in terms of his market value - I'll present it to the chairman.
"We've done deals with Orlando Pirates players to Europe in the past and as long as it's a fair deal then the chances are that it can be done.
"But as I've said the most important thing for footballers is to focus on their energy on where they are at the time and the rest falls into place."
